Sorrene

Québec singer-songwriter Sorrene, 22, is making her way in New Country Rock with a distinctive identity: a textured voice, rock energy and a country soul.

Since releasing her debut album Playin’ To Win in September 2025, Sorrene has continued performing across Québec and Canada. In summer 2026, her Playin’ To Win show travelled to several regions of Québec, including Les Rythmes Tremblant New Country and the Festival Promutuel de la Relève in Thetford Mines, on the Loto-Québec main stage. One of the season’s highlights came in Montréal, where she performed at the SiriusXM LASSO Montréal Sessions at Parc Jean-Drapeau, bringing her New Country Rock to the audience of one of Canada’s major country music events.

On Playin’ To Win, Sorrene fully embraces her New Country Rock signature through honest lyrics, memorable melodies and her distinctive raspy voice. Since 2023, six songs have reached Québec’s Mediabase Top 100: Caught Me On A Bad Day, Please You, Till The Wheels Fall Off, Break Like A Bottle and Think About That on the English-language chart, and On va y aller on the French-language chart. Caught Me On A Bad Day, Please You, Till The Wheels Fall Off and Break Like A Bottle also spent several weeks in Coyote New Country’s Top 25. Her songs have appeared on Apple Music, Spotify and Amazon Music playlists, while Till The Wheels Fall Off received exposure on SiriusXM’s Top of the Country.

Her career took a major turn in 2023 when she was introduced to a wider audience on La Voix. All four coaches turned around at her blind audition. She joined Marc Dupré’s team, won her Duel, stood out in the Chants de bataille and advanced to the live shows, marking the beginning of the competition’s final stages.

In 2024, she was named an emerging Artiste en lumière at the Prix Rencontres de l’ADISQ and earned the Étoile montante title at Festival Country de Rouville, which gave her the opportunity to share the stage with Patrick Norman. Over the seasons, she has also shared stages with Martin Deschamps and Breen LeBoeuf and performed on La Forge stage at Festival Western de St-Tite.

Sorrene’s story began well before these early honours. She started performing on stage at 13 and, in 2020, at age 15, became the youngest artist selected for Canada Fest.

Today, Sorrene moves forward with the same determination that runs through Playin’ To Win. A singer-songwriter and a natural live performer, she continues shaping contemporary New Country Rock in her own image, driven by her voice, her energy and her desire to do things her own way.

Thank you for all the support and love you have given me and still give me. My adventure at La Voix ends in the quarter-finals, but not my projects. Looking forward to seeing you back on stage.

I am grateful to have been chosen for the Knockout Rounds. It's one more opportunity for me to perform and to surpass myself, on the stage, and to be with my wonderful coach Marc Dupré.

Yessss! My adventure at La Voix continues! I won my duel by performing Elvis's song "If I Can Dream" with my partner Randy.
